Grimsby police are warning motorists to avoid the area at the junctions of Great Coates Road and Yarborough Road after a road traffic collision. The incident occurred on Little Coates Road in Grimsby. According to traffic reporting service Inrix, Little Coates road is closed in both directions with slow traffic in the surrounding area. It says this is 'due to an accident from Cambridge Road to Rosemary Avenue.' A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: 'Officers are currently in attendance on Little Coates Road in Grimsby following reports of road traffic collision at around 2.50pm today (Wednesday, 3 June 2026). Motorists are advised to avoid the area at the junctions of Great Coats Road and Yarborough Road and find alternative routes where possible.'
